building a loveable nonprofit brand.

A few years ago, a small women-led nonprofit approached me to build them a new logo.

But, then it turned into much more. “Need a comms strategy.” “Let’s build a new Wordpress site.” “…A secure online donor management platform, too?” “Email marketing, please.” “Now let’s build a Squarespace site!” “How about a video?” “Are you able to write a radio spot?” “Can we do full-scale giving campaigns?”

After the launch of the new brand, I was invited to sit on their board of directors between August 2019 - January 2024.

“everything we do starts from the heart.”

Profound words from a woman on our rebranding steering committee. (Yes, I produced this brand via design by committee).

The logo was printed on clean drinking water uzima buckets, tabletop banners at art fairs and laptops in classrooms.

On a daily basis, the brand is worn by amazing people packing emergency care supplies in the U.S., care teams doing baby rescues in Guatemala, and physicians doing free checkups for boarding students in Kenya.

You really need to read more about e3kids.
